Shop local. Support artists. Make a difference.
The White Room is a charitable organisation providing an inclusive, accessible creative space for artists with disabilities and other underserved members of our community.
Our annual Christmas pop-up shop is our biggest fundraiser of the year. It creates opportunities for artists to share their work with the wider community, earn income from their creativity, and have their talents recognised and celebrated.
When you buy an original artwork, 60% of the sale goes directly to the artist, while the remaining 40% supports the running of The White Room.

We’re delighted to return to The Tannery for an extended four-week season, giving you even more time to browse, discover local talent, and find something special this Christmas.
We will be open 7 days 10 - 5pm with artists creating in the space daily.
Location: The Tannery, 3 Garlands Road, Woolston, Christchurch
Dates: 16 November – 13 December 2026
We look forward to welcoming you back to our favourite local art shop!

Discover Christchurch City Southern Alps through Peter Chou’s eyes.
Peter’s collection of limited edition giclée prints featuring intricate city scenes inspired by places Peter has visited with his family, each captures the character, charm, and detail of urban life around the world.
Peter’s meticulous craftsmanship and remarkable attention to detail bring each city to life, revealing a world of fascinating little discoveries within every scene. Working freehand with felt pen, Peter creates his original drawings without preliminary sketches, resulting in richly detailed artworks that invite you to look closer each time.
Each print is produced using the giclée printing process, a high-resolution, fine-art printing technique that beautifully reproduces the detail of Peter’s original work.
Each city is available as a limited-edition print, making these works a special addition to any art collection or a thoughtful gift for lovers of travel, architecture, and the stories that cities hold.
We hold a limited number of prints in stock but please get in touch if you would like to pre-order a piece that is out of stock. We work with a local printer who has a two week lead time.
